Pick-up at your hotel for the 30-min. transfer to the domestic airport for early morning direct flight to Tortuga Lodge. Fly over Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Atlantic lowlands (35 minute flight). Upon arrival, breakfast at Tortuga Lodge, your hotel and base for the next three nights. After breakfast, join Captain Eddie Brown, three-time winner of the National Tarpon Tournament, for your Costa Rica adventure Tarpon and Snook fishing trip. As a young boy living on his own, Eduardo had to fish to live. Now he lives to fish. Owner of the two finest fishing boats in the region, Eduardo does not miss an opportunity to go out (even on the rare days when he does not have clients) to increase his vast knowledge of where the "bigguns" are hiding. But most days he is busy with the world-class adventure anglers who come to Tortuguero for the privilege of fishing with "Captain Eddy" and his brother Roberto. Dinner and overnight at Tortuga Lodge & Gardens (deluxe room).
Day 3-4 Tortuguero Costa Rica Fishing Excursions
Meals Included: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Two more days fishing in Tortuguero with Captain Eddie Brown. Depending on what’s biting and where, the night before you and Eddie will decide whether to return to the Lodge for lunch, pack a box lunch, or even visit the home of one Eddie's many friends who live on the Tortuguero coast. Fish species include Tarpon, four varieties of Snook, Rainbow Bass, Jack Cravelle and much more. Sea conditions permitting, you might also choose to go out into the Caribbean for Yellow Fin Tuna, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo or even an occasional Sailfish. Return to the hotel in time for our cooks to prepare the “catch of the day” as you like it. (Keep in mind, there’s a Lodge tradition to share with the other guests). Dinner and overnight at Tortuga Lodge.

“…the BEST family trip they had ever had.”
Hello Marco: I want to tell you and your ENTIRE team what a fabulous trip the Crockard family had. Both Mr as well as Mrs Crockard called to tell me it was the BEST Costa Rica family vacation trip they had ever had.
The trip far exceeded their expectations. The people were so NICE. They felt the equipment was safe, up to date and reliable. All the people they came in contact with were knowledgeable, spoke good English, were friendly - especially with the children. They appreciated the fact that you hired an excellent boat for fishing with a skipper who knew where to catch the fish. They caught 8 huge sailfish. The fishing was really important. They had friends who where also in the area, who went out fishing for the day, and did not even have a strike!
They especially liked the daily faxes to help keep them on track and know what to expect. What can I say? They are spreading the word about Costa Rica Adventure Vacation, as well as Gaia. We had to take your word and rely on all your suggestions, and it worked beautifully. Their children and grandchildren just came up to them during the trip, and thanked them so much for the special family time and experiences. You made me look good, and your company looks GREAT.
